Riad Arabia

Exclusive Medina Rental House

Bathrooms 4
Bedrooms 4
Sleeps 7

Refurbished in a traditional Moroccan style while ensuring western comfort, Riad Arabia offers en-suite facilities and air-conditioning (heating in winter) in each of its four bedrooms.

If you’ve never visited a riad before you may not know what to expect. Typically built around an inner courtyard, the architectural style of a riad eliminates noise from the busy streets outside. In Riad Arabia the tranquil tree-filled courtyard features a heated plunge pool with a restful 'bhou' salon seating area. Meals may be taken in the courtyard or on the roof terrace, where guests can dine beneath the sun or stars.

The ground floor also comprises a welcoming hallway, a traditional fully-equipped Moroccan kitchen, an en-suite bedroom (which doubles as a small salon) plus a large salon with a music centre, books, games, TV and DVD player.

The first floor has a surround balcony looking down into the courtyard; a third open-plan 'bhou' salon with open log fire, comfortable easy chairs and sofa seating; and two double en-suite bedrooms. Up a further flight of stairs is another double en-suite bedroom.

At the very top of the house is a sunny roof terrace where you can choose to relax in an open caidal tent, sunbathe or enjoy beautiful Marrakech sunsets and views across to Ben Youssef Minerat, Koutoubia and beyond.

Optional Activities in Marrakech

Camel rides, golf, cycling, quad biking, ballooning and walking are popular activities that can be arranged from Riad Arabia.

Riad Arabia is located in a central area of the medina, just a few steps walk from Rue Riad Laarous and the bustling covered souks of Marrakech, through which you can walk to the very heart of the Medina at Place Djemaa el Fna. Others attractions located close by the riad include the Palace/Museum of Dar El Bacha, the Mosque and Medersa of Ben Youssef, and the Museum of Marrakech.

A number of day trips are possible from Marrakech for travellers just spending a few days in the city. Popular options include a day trip to a typical Berber village in the Atlas - Imlil is popular, as is the Ourika Valley. Camel rides are an option, though perhaps best done in the Sahara. Quad bike trips, bicycle hire and a scenic balloon flight are other options. Families may enjoy a visit to Oasiria, a waterpark on the edge of Marrakech with beach, pools, slides and fun for the kids.

Why not combine a few nights in Riad Arabia with 2 or 3 nights in the southern oases and Sahara?
