Sahara Safari Camp
"We spent three memorable nights in the Sahara safari camp. The camp was extremely spacious and away from it all inbetween two areas of large dunes. The views were stunning and we really felt we were in the middle of nowhere. The tents were really comfortable, light and simply furnished with wash-stand, water jug and bowl. Duvets and blankets kept us warm and cosy (it was cold at night!). We had romantic candle-lit dinners on two nights under a palm tree in the dunes, and ate one night in the dining tent with other guests. Mohamed's cooking was superb and we couldn't have asked for more - staff even went to the trouble of organising chilled white wine for us! All the staff were very nice and helpful and helped make our 'desert adventure' thoroughly enjoyable. We enjoyed a fun camel trek on our first morning, a really interesting walk through a mud-brick village and to the top of a mountain on our second day, and a trip out in our 4x4 across the desert ably guided by Rashid."
